Bio

I am called John Balla Marah a Sierra Leonean by nationality. I am a Kuranko by tribe one of the minority tribes in Sierra Leone. I am born in a small village called Kamaron in the Koinadugu District far north of Sierra Leone.


Details

Iam a first born of five children. My parents are all alive my father is a Rev. Pastor while my mother is a house wife. We all love each other and wish all the best for our selves. I am a Sierra leonean and I am proud to be an African and a Sierra leonean. I hope to get news alert from Kabissa on daily basis, exchange of ideas and information of Human Rights issues, women's empowerment since thereis a lot to be done for the women in my country. Ima currently a project Coordinator of a coalition that is woerking on the eradication of FGM and other forms of harmful tradtional practices as early and forceful marriage. Through my relationship with Kabissa I woudl be able to campaign for funds to enable us continue our work on women and girl's issue in Sierra Leone. Our head offivce is situated at 57 Campbell Street in Freetown, from where we coordnate the activities of over 30 member organizations across the country.
