Sociologist, working for The Association for Progressive Communications, traveled and worked in several African countries.

I am Czech Sociologist, living in Montevideo, Uruguay. Since 2004, I have been working for The Association for Progressive Communications' Strategic Technologies and Network Development Programme (APC-STaND). I am responsible for development and coordination of number of projects ranging from APC's wireless projects (building communities' capacities to develop their own wireless networks), through APC's various FLOSS initiatives, to building a system protecting jeopardized online content. I am also responsible for several APC's capacity building initiatives. I traveled to different parts of Africa on several occasions, and worked in projects that were developed in Africa. I always tried to travel around and generally loved what I have seen.
