About Me

I am a second year graduate student at the University of Washington's Evans School for Public Affairs in the United States. My studies are focused on international development policy and management with a concentration in Africa.

Prior to joining the Evans School, I worked in Zambia for five years where I worked as a volunteer for the US Peace Corps, a community services representative with Africare, a technical consultant for Project Concern International (PCI) and a project manager for the International Organization for Migration (IOM). I am currently working on a degree project with IOM in Tanzania as the organization works to improve the development impact of remittances, encourage the transfer of professional skills and increase investment in Tanzania by members of the Tanzanian diaspora community living in the United States.

I am interested in interacting with development practitioners, academics and anyone else who is interested in social and economic issues facing developing countries, particularly in Africa.
