Zack Tucker blog post from Morocco - visiting Tanmia, ATED and ASUEEJ

Zack Tucker visit to MoroccoMorocco is a country with a rich sense of tradition and community, this sense of community is reflected in the variety of non-profit organizations operating in Morocco, these organizations represent the best of Morocco in my opinion. During my time here I have had the opportunity to visit with several of them.

I met this past Thursday with Mourad Gourouhi, the executive director of Tanmia, and his wonderful team at their office in Rabat.  This experience was my first on the African continent as I went directly there upon arriving and it was an extraordinary way to start the month or so I will spend on the African continent.

Reflections from Cadiz en route to Morocco and Ghana

The southern coast of Spain, where I am at present, is uniquely beautiful however just to the south of Cadiz, Spain lies the African Continent.  This is a place that I feel people in Western Europe and North America still know relatively little about.  I would consider that to be true for myself, there is much that I am yet to know about this place.

Seattle Film Maker to visit Tanmia and Time To Get Online workshop participants in Morocco en route to Ghana

Zack Tucker Gagnes, the Seattle film student who is scheduled to film a Kabissa Meetup on Sept 23 in Kumasi, Ghana, is also visiting Morocco. We are very pleased about this development, since it means that through him we are able to catch up with organisations we worked with in Rabat and Marrakesh in 2005.
