The Somali Journalists' Rights Agency (SOJRA) is clearly denounce the the danger faced Somali journalists and media professionals in south and central Somali regions particularly those living and working the three regions current under Alshabaab administration such Gedo, Bay and Bakol as well as Lower Juba region.

Somalia: Investigate killing of radio director
 
Amnesty International calls on the Somalia Transitional Federal Government to open a thorough, prompt and impartial investigation, with the assistance of the international community, into the killing of Muktar Mohamed Hirabe.

Muktar Mohamed Hirabe is the fifth Somali journalist to be killed in the line of their work this year and the second Director of the Somali radio station, Shabelle, to be killed in the last two years.

Mogadishu is war zone area, prominent journalist shot dead to day  The Somali Journalists Rights Agency (SOJRA) is to day denounce the death of prominent Somali journalist Abdirsaak Warsame Mohamed known as (Gado’o), who worked for radio Shabelle based in Mogadishu near by Hamar Jadiid district where his house is also located in Mogadishu.
