CHARITY CENTRE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, this is a youth organization which was formed in 2005 in kasempa district of Zambia. in it's efforts to reach to every young person in the north-western province of Zambia, the organization has openned a new branch in Solwezi District. therefore, we are looking for volunteers who has the heart for the development of young people through the implementation of HIV programmes.
We are also calling for partnership with organization working in the area of youth development.

I am writing you on behalf of the Charity Centre For Children and Youth Development(CCCYD). The organization (Solwezi Branch) was registered on 03/09/2010. It was created with the auspices of implementing education on the issues affecting Youth, orphans and Vulnerable Children such as HIV /AIDS, unemployment and poverty.
The mission of our organisation is to take the challenges of poverty eradication by strengthening the youths and orphans with the ability to work together for development through income generating activities and make orphans to be self – productive.
We are providing sustainable development through voluntary working by our members in training the youths, women and orphans in life skills in Solwezi and Kasempa districts of Zambia.
Our vision is to see that we reduce the number of vulnerability among orphans and vulnerable children in the community. We would love to see that those affected and infected by HIV/AIDS cop – up with their life by enhancing our active listening skills to ensure that those grieving have their thought made lighter. CCCYD believe that today determines the future of our nation thus its focus is to non –discriminatively engage the youth and children in healthy and productive practices for a better future. We have a large fundraising goal for setting up a bicycle Centre in Solwezi for the support of orphans in partnership with Bikes for the World (BfW), a sponsored project of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association, which collects used bicycles in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States and ships them to non-profit partner organizations in developing countries.
Your contribution of any amount between $444.00 and $2,222.00 or more would greatly help to ship a container of good second hand bicycles to set-up income generating activity for the support of Orphans and Vulnerable children in Solwezi. The cost estimates for the container from USA to Zambia via Dara-salam is $11,889.00
