engine of development all over the world. ICT sector provides endless
opportunities for the youth in Africa and its growth in Kenya provides
even greater rewards Information and Communication Technology (ICT) may
arguably be the most powerful tool for social and economic change.
Rapid and continuing growth and development in ICT is transforming the
ways in which young people live and work. Using internet for example,
young people can get access to both domestic and international
education business and job opportunities online. They can also share
interests with peers and can even advertise their products and get
market information on any business of their choice.

scholarships to rural delegates needing support to participate in the
conference will be provided at a cost of Ksh 1000 per person which also
includes an out of pocket allowance at Ksh 500 and return bus fares.

• Scholarships to young people in business needing support to
participate in the conference will be provided. The scholarship will
cover transport, meals and materials.
