'Dialogue among Civilisations' invitation

Art and Poetry inspire dignity, respect, pride, and freedom of expression, imagination, recognition of the individual, creativity, excellence and human rights:

Dialogue among Civilisations forms the basis for a new initiative by Art for Humanity.  It involves collaboration between artists and poets from Africa and those countries who participated in the 2006 Soccer World Cup.  The participants will be invited to create work on the theme of identity, land, object and belief.

Is kabissa.org excruciatingly slow for you during the last few days? Please test via proxy server.

Tobias Eigen's picture

Hey folks - I know the Kabissa site is slower than many other sites. Yesterday and today, however, I have noticed that the site is particularly slow for me (takes longer than 20 seconds for pages to load - sometimes up to 30-45 seconds) and I do not know why. I'd appreciate help with testing it. Can you take a look and report back to me?

Tobias Eigen's picture
Afriprov is one of my longtime favorite African websites, providing a platform for gathering and sharing the wisdom in African proverbs, sayings and stories. The site has recently been overhauled using the open source Joomla! content management system, as announced yesterday on the Proverbs-list mailing list. Read on for the full announcement. Congratulations!
