Description of Activities

ITAD is the acronym for the non-profit, non-governmental organization called "Information Technology Assistance for Development". ITAD, which is based in Liberia (West Africa), is organized with the sole purpose of: 1. To donate Computers, accessories and general communication equipment they receive, to institutions in need of these things, but can not afford the cost. 2. To assist in the maintenance of computers and other equipment donated, to ensure that these devices function through its full lifespan for which they were manufactured. 3. To give out scholarships, as a means of addressing the charitable needs of the poor and less fortunate. 4. To conduct computer literacy training and other educational programs in our efforts to eradicate illiteracy and poverty. 5. To donate books and other learning material to institutions in need. 6. To conduct or commission information technology research and publish the results of such research for development.
