Advancement for Small and Micro Enterprises Development in Tanzania (ASMET) is a non-profit organization registered under the Non-Governmental Organization Act No. 24 of 2002, section 12(2). ASMET was founded in 2003 with the aim of providing a variety of financial and non-financial services to empower the poor members of the community so that they can enter the economic mainstream and create solid economic future for themselves and others so as to become self-reliant. ASMET will provide supportive and direct services to medium and small entrepreneurs, civil society organizations, local councils and municipalities. All who are continuously working towards improving their organizations?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ effectiveness in areas of governance, management practices, and human resources, financial resources, service delivery, external relations, and program sustainability.
