Mission Statement
Cepa's mission is to create avenues of protecting and safe guarding vulnerable women from all forms of abuse, with the use of advocacy,sensitization campaigns and rehabilitation programmes.
Description of Activities
Areas of Work:
Research: Cepa researches on various areas of abuse, uncovering all forms of abuse and creating awareness of the general public, policy makers, human right activists and law enforcement agencies for the application of immediate precautionary, corrective and disciplinary measures.
Advocacy:The provision of free legal services to victims of abuse who can not afford legal services.
Sensitization Campaign:Creating awareness on the rights of women and on how an individual woman can protect herself from all forms of abuse by providing free counselling services, organising seminars and hosting workshops.
Rehabilitation Center: Cepa intends to establish shelters for the safety, rehabilitation and reintegration of victims of abuse.
