Description of Activities

International Institute of Alternative and complementing medicine is an international organization dedicated to revive the traditional systems of medicine in the light of modern Science. It conducts continuous research on traditional systems of medicine qualities, carries out clinical trials of traditional medicine, manufacture Natural medicines with international quality standards, offer training opportunities on various traditional / ancient healing systems and to offer treatment to those affected by various diseases. It is headquartered in Uganda and has membership in Africa, Europe, Caribbean, Asia and U.S.A IIACM conducts scientific research in the areas of HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Nutritional diseases, disorders of the skeletal structure, disease of the eye, ear, nose, throat, respiratory organs, digestive tract, liver, pancreas, bile passages, skin, intestinal parasites, urinary system, female/male sex organs, nervous and mental disorders, endocrine gland, lymphoid, infectious diseases, tuberculosis, venereal infection and allergies. IIACM performs training of which culminate in awarding Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees, Doctorate and Post Doctoral Degrees. Courses include Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Batch Flower Remedies, Magnetic Therapy, Yoga Therapy, Acupuncture and Acupressure, Unani-Medicine, J.N. Diagnosis, Hospital Management, African Medicine, Dream Analysis and Interpretation, Therapeutic Music, Dance Therapy, Nutritional Therapy, Osteopathy, Massage Therapy, First Aid, Hydrotherapy, Reiki, Ayurvedic Medicine, Herbology, Herbal Cosmetology, Western Medicine, Mysticism, Meditation Numerology, Palmistry, Sexology, Herbal Gardening, Shiatsu, Chiropractic Therapy, Reflexology, Physiotherapy, Tibetan Medicine, Spiritual Healing, Massage, Aromatherapy, Palmistry, Numerology, Hypnotism.
