Mission Statement

Kabissa’s mission is to help African civil society organizations put Internet and Communications Technology to work for the benefit of the people they serve.

Description of Activities

Kabissa (our name means completely in kiswahili) is a volunteer-led non-governmental organization founded in 1999.

We do this by providing this online platform at http://www.kabissa.org where people and organizations working in Africa can showcase themselves and connect with each other for peer learning and information sharing.

What's New in Groups

In ICT PEER LEARNING

Hello members of the Kabissa ICT peer learning group,

If you have been following Kabissa developments you will know that we have
upgraded the site - see http://www.Kabissa.org. We hope you like it!

With the upgrade, groups operate more like email discussion groups now -
like yahoo groups or a listserv. They are private, members only, so you can
speak freely without worrying about your messages appearing in Google
searches. If you do want to publish something you can also post it to the
blog.

So how should we use this group?

In KABISSA VOLUNTEERS

Hi everybody,

I am logged into skype and ready to go - happy to wait 30 mins if you
prefer so you can get settled. That would also give me some more time to
get organized as well. I've been adding to the agenda. :)

Cheerio,

Tobias
