Posting content to the Kabissa community website

Once you have logged into the Kabissa online community website, you can begin adding content (online information) to tell the world what your organization is doing and your needs and priorities.The best content is selected by the Kabissa team for inclusion in the monthly Kabissa Gong Gong newsletter.

Below is an explanation of the types of content that can be added - note that only people related to approved members can add most types of content as indicated below.

  • "About Me" Biographical information
    Biographical information submitted by each registered person on the website, visible on the profile page. You can add your bio on your account page, and are encouraged to return frequently to update it with your latest activities!
  • Blog entry
    A blog is a regularly updated journal or diary made up of individual posts shown in reversed chronological order. Each person with an account registered on the site and associated with a member organization may maintain a blog here in their own name and add blog posts to it.
  • Event
    An event is a story which can be given a start and end date, thus appearing in the events calendar. Each person with an account registered on the site and associated with a member organization may add events.
  • Member News
    Announcements from Kabissa member organizations. Each person with an account registered on the site and associated with a member organization may add member news on behalf of their organization.
  • Resource Listing
    Listings of recommended websites, documents and other learning resources on the Internet relevant to African civil society. Anyone - even unregistered visitors to the site - may submit resource listings which are then approved by the Kabissa editorial team for listing.
