Two days left to vote for Ushahidi and other important Web 2.0 projects for Africa in the Netsquared N2Y3 Mashup Challenge!

N2Y3 Mashup Challenge Netsquared is gathering momentum for its third annual conference, dubbed N2Y3, to promote and contribute to powerful "social web for social change" projects. Kabissa was deeply involved the last two rounds but is opting out this year. Nevertheless I am pleased to see that once again there are some very exciting African projects in the running. There are also other projects that I think will benefit Africa, in a field that is once again dominated by American projects.

PLEASE COME AND VOTE! It is a popular voting process that determines which projects are invited to be presented at the conference and get a chance to win the competition. Among the candidates I am particularly fond of the Ushahidi: Mapping Reports of Post-Election Violence in Kenya project and think it should win! I also would like to see A Mashup of 29+ Social Action Platforms -- Social Actions and Volunteer Now! - by mobile phone at the event. Read on to view all 10 projects on my ballot or click here to head straight over to the Netsquared voting site. Thanks!

If you have time, return here please to let us know who you voted for and why!
