The Somali Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (SOMESHA) has today strongly condemned the threat from the vice president of the newly established Jubba Jazira State of Somalia Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Yusuf (Dooro).

A reliable resource are sending alert massages indicating possible 
assassination / abduction of SOMESHA Secretary General Mr. Daud Abdi Daud organized by Jubba Jazira State vice president Mohamed Ahmed Yusuf (Dooro) as he is going to use the Somali Kenyan Police Officers from his Sub-clan of Sheikhal clan.

Obviously, SOMESHA, never thought that such the newly formed regional states be part of the prolonged violence and fighting against Somali journalists in Somalia and in the region because most of them are currently working as exile institutions with lack of deep-seated focal points.

Somalia journalists have been under siege for almost six years and it was May 6, 2010 when fourteen Somali journalists exiled in Kenya said that they are receiving repeated death threats from the hard-line Somali Islamist group, the Shebab.

Finally, the Somali Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (SOMESHA) is kindly requesting the Jubba Jazira State authorities to stop any kind of intimidations whether its direct or indirect celebrity and respect the rights of Somali journalists and their goodwill.
