Peace Building Conferences for Citizens of the 3 Northern Regions of Ghana

The Africa Peace Building Club is the only NGO in Ghana that works currently on educating the people of the three northern regions where is recently noted as conflict zones.

The organisation started the community conferencing since the year 2005 from region to region and also for those citizen of the north living in the south. Actually each of the three regions have its perculia problems and causes of conflicts and other forms of disturbances. some are CHIEFATANCY, LAND, POLITICAL, etc.

The APBC realised the need to sensitize the people on the need to live in peace with people in and out of their communities so that the regions could attract investors for develpment and job creation.

So far, the fifth conference has just ended on the 15th march, 2008. more of such conferences will be organised soon arround the country.

The regions are rich in natural resources but government came and passed without giving the regions the needed developmental attention for that matter, the people also have problem with job seeking and have to travel to the south for greener pasture.
