Only Through Education: New Video from Maasai Girls Education Fund

The Maasai Girls Education Fund is working to empower Maasai women in Kenya through education, and we are succeeding. A new video--Only Through Education--captures why our work is important and how we are making a difference, not only to the women we educate, but to their families and communities as well.

Only Through Education features interviews with three of our scholarship recipients who represent a new generation of women, an educated generation challenging the gender prejudices in their world. 

MGEF provides scholarships to Maasai girls in Kenya who otherwise would not be able to go to school. Scholarships are continuous until every student has the knowledge and skills needed to enter the workforce in Kenya. Through this long-term commitment, we are creating a generation of economically empowered Maasai women. View the video, and meet three of them.
