Video is a great medium to inform and inspire our audiences to action. And, in the last few years the barriers to entry have become far lower than ever before. Affordable video capability and basic editing software are now widely available - and easy to use. But, how can organizations and enterprises best use video to inspire change? This month's Net2 Think Tank is asking for your tips and tools for creating effective videos. From choosing the hardware to promoting the finished product, we want to hear from you. Share your tools, tactics, and best practices with the NetSquared Community today!
Topic:
Regardless of budget and organization size, what tools and tactics do you recommend for creating effective video messages? Are there specific video cameras or video editing tools that you can recommend? Do you have tips on message creation and distribution? There are so many tools and techniques to choose from - what's worked for you?
Deadline: Saturday, October 23rd
How to contribute:
- Post your response online: Leave a comment on the original post, write on your own blog or website, post on the NetSquared Community Blog, or share your feedback on Facebook, Linkedin, or Twitter.

The roundup of contributions will be posted on the NetSquared blog on Monday, October 25th.
About Net2 Think Tank:
Net2 Think Tank is a monthly blogging/social networking event open to anyone and is a great way to participate in an exchange of ideas. We post a question or topic to the NetSquared community and participants submit responses either on their own blogs, the NetSquared Community Blog, or using social media. Tag your post with "net2thinktank" and email a link to us to be included. At the end of the month, the entries get pulled together in the Net2 Think Tank Round-Up.

Hi Claire,
Thanks for sharing this post in the ICT Peer Learning group on Kabissa. I
think the Netsquared Think Tank concept is great, and would be glad to
feature the roundup regularly in Kabissa Gong Gong, our monthly member
newsletter, to spread the learning in the Kabissa community.
The September topic "Finding Volunteers Online" is actually very timely for
me - Kabissa is taking baby steps in online volunteering right now:

Hi Tobias - We'd really appreciate you sharing it in the Gong Gong! Thanks for offering! I've just added you to our email distribution list for when the Think Tank is posted (let me know if you prefer to be taken off the list - but I assumed you'd want to be notified!) Also, really glad you're finding the September #net2thinktank useful! Best, Claire
oh, also you may like this other Think Tank on Volunteering Online: http://www.netsquared.org/blog/clairesale/net2-think-tank-round-donating...(as opposed to September's about Finding Volunteers Online)
Thanks Claire! I'm glad to also be on the list for your Net2 Think Tank news - but to make sure it gets shared through Kabissa please also add connect@groups.kabissa.org or crosspost as you did this time.
Warm regards,
Tobias
Hi Claire,
Oops - actually, please add peerlearning@groups.kabissa.org to your
distribution lists for sharing peer learning info like the net2 think
tank news. You can add ***@***.*** to your lists for
sharing more general interest opportunities or news relating to
Netsquared local, challenges or other programs. Be sure the email
address you send from is signed up and a member of the group, or add it
as an email alias to an existing user account of a netsquared person on
Kabissa.
Note that posts shared via email are not formatted nicely on the
website (though they are formatted nicely by email) and that posts added
to the website are formatted nicely on the website (but not always as
nicely by email). I am working on getting this functionality more in
sync but in the meantime that's how it is. :)
Warm regards,
Tobias

Thanks for this, Tobias! I'll have to cross-post manually as I don't think our current format for the email would translate to the post very well.
Also, the Think Tank Round-up is now posted at: http://netsquared.org/blog/claire-sale/net2-think-tank-round-creating-awesome-v
Thanks to everyone who contributed!
