New RECLAIM PRIVACY browser plugin lays bare Facebook privacy settings

Given that I feel remorse every time I use Facebook because its continual changes to privacy settings endanger my activist colleagues, I am incredibly pleased to see the arrival of RECLAIM PRIVACY, an open-source browser-based privacy scanner for Facebook. Because it is a separate, browser-based app and the code is open source for all to see, it helps us all to gain a better understanding about the risks we may or may not be taking in using Facebook.

I recommend everyone on Facebook go to http://www.reclaimprivacy.org to install the scanner right now. Let us know here how it works for you and your thoughts about Facebook Privacy.
