The National Post a Somali independent news paper is organized by training about covering peace process in Somali Since 2007, Somalia has become Africa’s most dangerous country for journalists and the world’s deadliest place for media professionals outside Iraq and funded by American Embassy in Nairobi.

Somali journalists, editors, cameramen and some journalist’s organization like SOJRA, ASOJ, SOSJA, WAJ and Dasgosom participated in two day workshop held in Barakat Hotel Nairobi the capital city of neighboring Kenya.

"I believe that this training might be reduce risks that Somali journalists and other media workers face while they are going to carry out their work duty for journalism" said the Secretary General of SOJRA while he was participating the training as well as met Susana Price the public officer for United Nations Political Office for Somalia (UNPOS).

Participants of the two days workshop undertake a 10 articles towards for peace process in Somalia and paid emotional tribute to all Somali journalists who died in Somalia particularly Nasteh Dahir Farah and all international humanitarian aid workers and condemned this brutal murders kidnapping and attacks.
