Mogadishu is under fighting and violence, Three Somali journalists wounded at press conference place in Mogadishu as fighting intensifies for the fourth day between pro Somali government forces and Islamic insurgence groups.
The Somali Journalist Rights Agency (SOJRA) is to day denounce the injured of three
prominent journalists, Bashiir Khaliif Gani, who worked for Shabelle radio and Abdilnasir Nur Gedi, who worked for Horn Cable TV based in Hargeisa Somaliland and Mohamed Abdi Nahar worked for Shabelle radio was also wounded.
The two journalists was wounded after when they were trying to cover a press conference
held in Ifka halane Islamic court centre by Alshabaab and about the fighting in between
militias dedicated to the political power in Mogadishu. The fighting is between Alshabaab
and Islamic courts union.
The Horn Cable TV cameraman Abdulkadir Nur Gedi, Shabelle Radio reporter Bashir Khalif Gedi were wounded after rocket landed at the place causing titanic explosion and terror.
The journalists get together at the place at Ifka Halan Islamic court where Alshabab commissioner in Banadir region holding presses conference about the situation of Mogadishu fighting.
