Center for the Protection of the Abused (CEPA), a gender-based organisation aimed at the eradication of all forms of abuse meted out on women in Africa, is set to flag off its debut project on "Women and the family in the African society" and the launching of the Organisation in Nigeria by December 2009.

The project will include workshops organised for women to create awareness on how to tackle challenges posed by their status as women; and for the exhibition and sale of books written on women in the family, cases of abuse and the way forward.

Authors from any part of Africa are encouraged to indicate their interest of participation by sending application to the email cepa65@yahoo.com .

CEPA is soliciting for advice, support and sponsorships from feminists, human right Organisations, gender-based organisations, and corporate organisation all over Africa by emailing to the same address.
