The Human Rights Consult... on children's rights through schools

The Human Rights Consult is passionate about the protection of the rights of children through schools in Nigeria. This is based on the belief that schools are very good medium to protect a large number of children at the same time. Thus teachers can play a major role in ensuring that children's rights are protected. They can however assist children with counselling, referal to appropriate safety nets and pshyco-social therapy.

The "protection of children through schools" programme will start in Oyo State with the trianing of teachers to pioneer this project.
