The idea behind the Global Venture Challenge is to look at  the ways in which competition can be used to identify new energy technologies that are appropriate to present needs. $25,000 will be awarded to a team of 2-4 graduate students to commercialise their innovative technology.

Hello Sokari -

Thanks for sharing this very interesting opportunity with the Kabissa
community! I hope members working in this area will apply!

Note that with the new site design, the blog categories are highlighted in
the menu to provide direct access to posts about funding or ICT etc. Please
select those categories carefully as well as adding your own specific tags.

I also changed a setting so posts are not appearing automatically on the
frontpage - so as community coordinator you can edit posts and tick the
"promote to frontpage" option on those posts that are particularly
significant in terms of its ICT focus or othrwise important for members in
the Kabissa community to see.
