Hello I am Zack Tucker I am a film maker from Seattle, Washington. I am going to be traveling to Morocco and Ghana this coming month to shoot a documentary for Kabissa. I will be in Morocco September 10-14 and in Ghana September 22-25. My background is in the world of dramatic film and television; I have a degree from Capilano University in Vancouver, Canada in film production and have worked in the film and television industry in Vancouver. I was most recently working on Columbia Pictures upcoming epic entitled “2012” by director Roland Emmerich. I was also nominated for a Leo Award (best music video) this past year for Ali Milner “Crystal Clear”. I am now turning my attention to the exciting world of documentary filmmaking. My hope is to highlight several charities operating in Ghana and Morocco and show what they are doing, why what they are doing is of importance, and how Kabissa is helping them achieve their goals.

Hi Zack!

Welcome to Kabissa! I'm glad you are here and that you approached us on Bainbridge Island to do this film project with Kabissa members in Ghana. I have promoted this post to the Kabissa frontpage and will tweet it to help spread the word about your trip. As promised directly to subscribers in this Kabissa Meetups group yesterday, we will be sharing more info about your Ghana trip shortly.

Remember to follow http://makerfaireafrica.com which starts tomorrow in Accra - a "celebration of African ingenuity, innovation and invention". Perhaps you can find threads here for use in your Ghana filming about the organisations you will meet through the Kabissa meetup.

Can you tell us some more about your plans for Morocco? Have you figured out yet who you want to go see? If you can, please drop in on my friends at Tanmia (http://www.tanmia.ma). Tanmia and Kabissa collaborated on a Time To Get Online/Venez Sur Internet training program there... about 5 years ago now. How time flies! The work there with Moroccan "associations" (as they call organisations there) was really very exciting and I enjoyed being in Morocco and envy you the opportunity to visit.

Warm regards,

Tobias
