Freedom of Speech controlled at the United Nations

It turns out that Sukuma Kenya's little rants and raves warranted the United Nations system to officially ban the blog:

After some back and forth with their Media Dept, they have sent in a request to unban it. Interestingly, a number of sites are "banned" within their including other environmental orgs and blogs!! So, I guess the begging question is how effective can the UN really be if they don't even have full
access to the World Wide Web...
