“SOJRA will never accept and encourage of paying a ransom and the on going negotiation is among the local journalists and the kidnappers because of our profession and all journalists around the world are onetribe named “PRESS” or “JOURNALISM” and one profession. That is why what we are struggling to keep in touch with their unconditional release” Mr. Daud added.

Nigel Brennan, 37, was travelling with Canadian photojournalist Amanda Lindhout, 27, when they were kidnapped in Somalia on August 2008.

However, the Somali Journalists’ Rights Agency (SOJRA) is kindly requesting the both family of the journalists be happy and keep away to harm our efforts.
