APRI JOINS DRTS TO REGULATE THE DEALERSHIP OF SPARE PARTS IN FCT

The Directorate of Road Traffic Services, Transport Secretariat, Federal Capital Territory Abuja Nigeria has commenced the registration and licensing of Spare Parts Dealers such as Motor Vehicles, Motor Cycle, Tricycle, Earthmoving Equipment, Generators, and allied motorized products in the Federal Capital Territory. The scheme is under section 26, Speciaal Trade License of FCT Road Transport Regulation 2005.

The objective of the scheme is to curtail the distribution and sales of fake and substandard products in the Federal Capital Territory.

Accident Prevention and Rescue Initiative is partnering with the Directorate for adequate manpower and resource mobilization.

We are calling on companies and organizations engaged in the production of genuine spare parts as listed above to visit the Directorate of Road Traffic Services, Ssprcial Trade License Office Mabushi Abuja to obtain their registration and license certificates. Consumers of spare parts in the Federal Capital Territory are advised to purchase their spare parts from registered and licensed dealers to ensure safety.
