African Blogoshere Statistics

Justin Hartman has produced an interessting slide show showing the state of the African blogosphere. Some highlgihts:

The number of blog posts between 2007 and 2008 have nearly doubled.

Over 50% of blogs are of South African origin. They are followed by Kenya 8% and Nigeria 5%

The number of new blogs continues to grow eg they have doubled in number in just one month
