Elizka Relief Foundation in collaboration with Kabissa - www.kabissa.org - is organizing the 1st ever Kabissa Meetup in Ghana in Kumasi on the 23rd of September, 2009 at the Ghana National Cultural Centre Administration Hall - Kumasi. The time for the event is 10am - 4pm.
The event seeks to bring together people from Civil Scociety Organizations (CSOs), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOS), Community Based Organizations (CBOs) who have compelling stories and experiences to share in an equitable exchange; and who also seek local and global partnerships for their work.
In conformity with the objectives of the programme, Zack Tucker Gangnes, a Filmmaker from Seattle, shall be visiting to photograph and film the meetup and projects sites of interested organizations for a documentary that aims to promote the work of the organizations.
Moreover; the Visions, Mission, Objectives and Activities of Kabissa shall be extensively elaborated and discussed during the meetup to enable participants get to know about the different functionalities of the Kabissa Website and how they could use to promote and benbefit their work.
The proposed Draft Agenda for the event is as follows:
- Welcome By Host
- Brief Introductions by Participants - Name, Organization, Activities, etc.
- Presentations - A brief 5 minutes presentation of a specific project, activity or idea.
- Discussions and knowledge sharing.
- Reflections and Planning for new collaborations
- Wrap-up and decide when and where to host next meetup.
All interested bodies are invited to participate in this all important memorable event.
