Technical details: the Kabissa server operates on a "flavor" of Linux known as Redhat 7.2. On Tuesday morning, we upgraded Apache to the latest version and last week we upgraded many other programs and disabled quite a few that we were not using. Another task we carried out last week was to turn off SSL (https) web access on our server for domains that were not using them. On Friday, we will upgrade the operating system kernel which requires a reboot and file system check. All of these tasks will help to enable the server to operate more efficiently.
